How did you get into Biathlon?
I was given the opportunity at 19 years of age to go adventure training after completing a tour of Iraq with the British Military. With them, I went to Norway and fell in love with this crazy sport! I went on to compete at the British Championships after just three months on snow and was selected to train full time.
Why do you love Biathlon?
I love it because it is so amazing to watch, every day is different and there is always a chance of a podium if you can get the shooting and the skiing perfect on the day.
What does your usual day look like?
At the moment I’m still racing internationally so my summer training routine is completely different from my winter racing routine.
What is your proudest moment?
I was very proud of qualifying for both of my Olympic Games.
If you weren't a sportsperson, what would you be?
This is easy... a soldier.
What injuries have you had and how did/ do they affect you?
I’ve had a lot of injuries over the past years. One that springs to mind would be my Achilles in the summer. I missed out on a vast amount of great training which is always the effect of injuries, but with NuroKor, I can now train my muscles even when injured. I’m so glad NuroKor is now part of my life.
Where do you use it?
I use it everywhere, I absolutely love it.. It is so compact so I can travel with it around the world. Currently, it’s with me in Minsk in Belarus!
What's next for you? Next big goal?
2022 Olympics in Beijing!!
