Wound & tissue expert, Professor Ardeshir Bayat joins NuroKor Team

NuroKor welcome clinician-scientist and world-renowned expert in wound healing, skin scarring, and tissue repair, Professor Ardeshir Bayat - BSc (Hons) MB BS PhD, who joins as Chief Clinical & Scientific Advisor. Ardeshir will contribute to the scientific development and evidence of NuroKor’s products, across both pain management and wound care. 

NuroKor is excited to announce the new appointment of Chief Clinical & Scientific Advisor, Ardeshir Bayat who will be working alongside our science and medical teams to further advance the scientific development and evidence of NuroKor’s products range, across both pain management and wound care.

The new addition to the team is set to aid NuroKor in the continued development of groundbreaking, non-invasive technology for users with varying pain ailments. Ardeshir states: 

"I am incredibly excited to be a part of a great team that is making a huge difference for people living with pain and injury, reducing the potential side effects of some medicines and reducing the need for invasive interventions."

Ardeshir has a colourful background in both science and medicine and began his clinical career, specialising as a Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon. He's not only a clinician but a scientist with world-renowned expertise in wound healing, with the focus of his research being in skin repair, fibrosis and tissue regeneration. 

One of his main areas of interest is on the use of bioelectronics in tissue healing and he has spent many years gaining a deeper insight into the molecular science behind tissue healing and scar formation. 

Ardeshir is excited to bring his wealth of experience to NuroKor and continue to work with the company to create a better quality of life on a global scale. Sharing his enthusiasm for this new role, Ardeshir said:
